GiraMondo Wine Adventures offers wine enthusiasts the opportunity to tour a winery and experience Virginia wine country. The Chateau O'Brien Winery in Markham invites you to a Gourmet Tasting Lunch with all organic wines at 12:30 pm on July 26, 2008.

Your experience begins with an introduction before heading off for the winery visit. During the tour you will be shown the winery and see the bottling and labelling facilities. The Gourmet Tasting Lunch will be next on the agenda before finally taking a look around the cellar shop where you can purchase your favorite wines.

Chateau O’Brien Winery : Gourmet Lunch / Tasting at 12:30 pm

This vineyard is currently 15 acres with a planned expansion to 25 acres.The rootstock was imported from France and grafted with American rootstock. The vines were hand selected for intensity of flavor and true varietal character and are nurtured through biodynamic agriculture. The winery and vineyard opened for full operation on November 1, 2006.
